Software is terrible

I have tried everything, including contacting the company, and still cant get the software to do what its supposed to. The only way I can view the Jennov camera is to sign out of my home wifi, sign on to the cameras wi-fi. This takes time so is not helpful if I want to see who is at the front door. Also, were supposed to be able to access the camera when we are away from home and I cant connect to the camera unless Im at home. Reviewers on Amazon have suggestions about how to do this, but it involves complicated (at least, for me) port forwarding, something Im not savvy enough to do. Additionally, I wish the designers of the app would work with an English translator because its extremely hard to understand what the instructions are. If I hadnt already screwed the camera to the house and scratched its bracket, I would have returned it. :(
